Requests for criminal record searches?
The Clerk of the District Court office cannot conduct record searches. Our records are open to the public and we will direct you to the records to be searched.
How far back do your records go for the purpose of genealogy research?
The records in Polk County date back to the late 1800’s, when the county was first established. We will assist by directing you to the books and records you need to research. Copies may be purchased for a nominal fee. The Nebraska Historical Society also has many records, contact them by phone at: 1-800-833-6747 or at their web site
